Molecular visualizations of DNA

This is an amazing CGI visualization of how DNA works. It also serves as proof-of-concept for molecular nanotechnology. It shows animations of DNA coiling, replication, transcription and translation. It was created by Drew Berry of the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research.

Be sure to watch the sequence on genetic transcription (around the mid-way point) -- it'll blow your mind.

How amazing. What a wonderful idea, to make a CGI video of it!
