Carl Sagan's transhumanist vision via The Pale Blue Dot

EARTH: The Pale Blue Dot from Michael Marantz on Vimeo.

This video was put together by Michael Marantz who pieced together the words from Carl Sagan's Pale Blue Dot to create an inspiring narrative.

  1. Simply beautiful.

  2. Great, thanks for posting!

  3. Uh, hello, ghost of Carl Sagan? The moon landings came and went nearly 40 years ago, and nobody has traveled beyond low Earth orbit since. The "space age" refers to handful of years in the past, before the literal living memory of more than half the world's current population.

  4. Oh don't be such a spoilsport, Mark!

I think we're going to have to start calling you Mark Minus...

or, better still, have you considered changing your name to Marvin?
