What it does require is a complete rethink of how we program software and manage systems. Quantum computing may help sell these ideas but I don't think are required to enable them.SHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14823444707744542977noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6753820.post-31720419662476791532009-01-06T18:30:00.000-05:002009-01-06T18:30:00.000-05:00I am not a quantum computer engineer ... but I do ...I am not a quantum computer engineer ... but I do believe that reversible computation could be realized with conventional computation techniques. IMHO the barrier is not technical but it is mental since it is a complete shift of how we currently write software. Of course quantum computation may sell these ideas which were previously not considered.SHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14823444707744542977noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6753820.post-2394024726996700352009-01-03T23:02:00.000-05:002009-01-03T23:02:00.000-05:00This reminds me of the claim that quantum computer...This reminds me of the claim that quantum computers even work when they're turned off in our universe because they're on in other universes.Mark Plushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03859046131830902921noreply@blogger.com
