Think of the research value!&lt;br /&gt;MachineIntelligence #2: We&amp;#39;ll need an environment suitable for them.&lt;br /&gt;MachineIntelligence #1: Well for the majority of their history they were nomadic hunters... we can knock up some sort of fake jungle for them to live in. They&amp;#39;ll be happy there.&lt;br /&gt;MachineIntelligence #2: Isn&amp;#39;t that a little unethical? Our evidence suggests that they were intelligent and rational, at least some of the time. If we do this at all, surely we&amp;#39;d need to grant them at at least 1.0 level access rights?&lt;br /&gt;MachineIntelligence #2: Nah. There&amp;#39;s no ethical problem with this because they were clearly inferior to us... otherwise they wouldn&amp;#39;t have gone extinct back at the beginning of recorded MI history.
